Today, two skeins of Koigu PPPM followed me home from Rosie's!
Sure, sure, it's for a "good cause" (read: my feet) but still!

a skein of Noro KureyonI'm thinking "Wow. I generally really dislike Noro. What's the deal with bringing Noro home? Esp. main-stream Noro." It's pretty simple; my roommate, Hannah, has started knitting. She picked out some very cool Lana Grossa yarn of some sort to start with, but I wanted her to also have some nice "pretty things" so I figured $8 was a small price to pay to suck up to her. And now, a new knitter has her very own skein of Manos and her very own skein of Noro!
As for the DPNs, they are for a friend who will be knitting me a felted bag. I asked if anyone would felt something for me; and she offered to knit and felt it if I bought the yarn so I procured two skeins of Cascade 220 in a nice green and a nice yellow. As a thank you gift (upon prodding), she requested some smaller than size 0 double points.
And now the roommate has come home and is showing me her knitting. This is all good and cute, but she's also drunk. A new knitter who is already drunk. I love it.
