PSA: Secret Pal Brain Scans
2005-07-08, 2:59 a.m.

Based on recent events, the Knitterbelle (me) and Harry London (chocolate maker extraordinaire) are bringing the knitting world a very important Public Service Announcement.

We would like to warn you about these things called Secret Pals. They are, in fact, very dangerous. Knitters who call themselves Secret Pals can read the minds of other knitters. I'm not kidding with you; this is a very serious matter. For example, my very own secret pal knew that life was going to get hard for me very fast. She also knew that chocolate is my secret lust...This is scary, folks.

These knitters...these Secret Pals...they're good. Very good.
They send small, wonderful packages of goodies that ::gasp:: brighten days.

These people know what they're doing. They are making folks smile.

If you or someone you know has been surprised and pleased by a package from one such Secret Pal, encourage them to don a tin foil hat to keep their brainwaves from being scanned. I've been wearing my tin foil cap 24/7 because my Secret Pal is damn good.
